11:00 am - 4:00 pm. For All ages!

The Earth Day Fair is presented by the Naperville Park District with booths, exhibits and presentations until 4 pm. Doors open at 11am. Visit with local organizations to learn about sustainable initiatives. Adam Kreuzer of IDA Chicago will have a Dark Sky booth and will be presenting on Conserving Dark Skies at 3:30 pm.

Presentation Schedule:

  • 11:00 am - Doors Open

  • 12:30 pm – Invite Nature to Your Garden, Jim Kleinwachter, The Conservation Foundation

  • 1:15  pm - Going Solar in Illinois, Jack Johannesson, Windfree Solar

  • 2:00 pm - Grow Groceries in Containers and Save the Environment, M. Grace Grzanek, Just Food Initiative of Fox Valley

  • 2:45 pm - BOOM SOLAR!, Patrick Tata, Gain Renewables

  • 3:30 pm -Conserving Dark Skies, Adam Kreuzer, International Dark Sky Association

  • 4:15 pm - Go Green and Save Green at Home, Mike King, Nicor

-Visit with 30 local business and organizations to learn about their sustainable initiatives and how you can be more "green"

- Attend up to 6 presentations by local experts

- Listen to 2 State Legislatures address sustainability initiatives in Illinois
