Since 1988, the International Dark Sky Association, at www.darksky.org, has been the global leader on artificial outdoor light pollution, its consequences and how to save our night sky. The IDA has a presence is more than 60 counties. It has almost 500 delegates globally. Currently, there are more than 170 IDA certified dark sky places.
